    The reason why we crave the fatty foods is because our natural instinct is eating the high calorie based foods for survival.

    I said a raw food diet is the best diet for a lot of people (not everyone), fruitarian isnt the best but its better than most. Anything with dairy, or processed foods is going to be bad for your health. There are many studies to prove that. When people go raw vegan, their health problems disappear most of the time. It can cure cancer, diabetes, arthritis, heart disease…people can get off their meds and drop some weight. When done right, a raw food diet is very healing for the body.

    Sorry but you’re mistaken. There have been many studies on the “Fruitarian” Diet that shows it’s horrible for your health.

    A fruitarian diet is healther than what most people eat. But I believe the best diet is a raw food vegan diet. There are a lot of myths out there, about B12, protein deficiency, or the idea that milk is good for you. Humans were not made to drink milk past enfancy, and it naturally contains a lot of things that are really bad for us. And yes milk is something natural, but as soon as you process it and package it, it isnt. And theres nothing wrong with eating as much fruit as you please.

    The trick is to keep eating those healthy foods until they start tasting good. I used to hate spinach, but through mind over matter, I made it one of my favorite foods.

    I’m sure my heart will forgive me for getting my meat at half cost. I find it hard to buy into the whole “organic” meat is better than any other, and please explain to me how a cow raised in NC is better than one raised in cali?

    If the people in the store don’t know, it’s probably conventional. Most healthy foods will be labeled as such: From Vegetarian-Fed Hens, etc. Have you looked for local farmers in your area? The internet is your oyster. You can also order grass-fed meats online. Anytime you eat or chew on gum (even sugar-free) drink a glass of water after to clean your teeth off. Most gums still contain BHT, TBHQ and other chemical preservatives as well as a sugar substitute, cut back if you can.

    I eat lots of veggies/fruits both raw and cooked: spinach, kale, celery, carrots, avocado, tomato, etc. Grains: quinoa, amaranth, millet, brown rice, etc. Beans: pinto, black, garbanzo (chick pea), lentils, etc. The secret is yummy dressing or sauce. And yes I indulge, but I fill up on veggies first so I won’t gorge myself on chocolate-covered coffee beans. If you eat lots of veggies and make them the majority of your meal, a splurge here and there won’t hurt you.

    The sad fact is most of this is common sense. Processed foods invented in the last 60 years are NOT healthy, humans are supposed to eat FOOD that comes from the GROUND, not Frankenfood! There aren’t a lot of studies on natural foods b/c they have sustained humans for millions of years. Many studies are funded by the chemical companies themselves, so the “data” is biased. See Vince Bellonzi (a Clinical Nutritionist on our channel), Sally Fallon, Weston A Price, Ben Fuchs, Dr Mercola, etc.

    Consider how much a triple bypass might cost. Or even taking a Rx drug for the rest of your life & compare that to the cost of the meat. Money you spend on good food is literally preventing disease. We don’t skimp on our car repairs or our pet food, so don’t skimp on yourself. Sam’s is okay if you watch them cut the meat off an animal, i.e. it’s not in a plastic package and doesn’t have an ingredient list. Local or Organic is better, your heart will thank you.
