Seriously impressed fella, excellent job. Started cycling again in the new year, and managing around 40 miles a week so far, but weight loss is painfully slow! How many miles do you recommend a week? BTW I live in a fairly flat part of the south east, with very few climbs, perhaps 500 foot each 10 miler. Thanks for your advice mate and keep up the great work, very insprational.

im 220 pounds myself being only 5 feet six in height i have a huge belly. i started cycling since spring and lost like 12 kilos, but im afraid that if i keep it up ill have too much loose skin. can this not happen if the wight loss is slow but constant?

Thanks for some extra motivation. I got back on my bike in mid June of this year (2012) and started out at 286# at 6’1″. I am down to just under 260 as of today. I have a goal to get to 225 by the end of this year and ultimately to around 200.
It would be a shame if you did not build muscle when other people are able to lose fat so easily with Trim Fat Maximizer (check it out on Google).

I basically ate loads of meat,veg and dairy! It’s pretty easy if you work it out, if my mum was making dinner and it was chicken curry I would have it without rice, or a steak and loads of nice veg for dinner:) Yogurts and fruit for breakfast and lunch a salad packed with nice things like cheese, tomatoes, sweetcorn, chicken! I would snack on mixed nuts, yoghurts, humous and vegetable sticks or cups of tea 🙂 diet coke aswell;) lol
Wow is all I can say. I’m currently trying to lose weight myself for the new year and hope to lose a stone or maybe more for summer. What an inspiration!!! Out of curiosity what did you eat in place if carbs and do I have to cut carbs out ? If weight loss is calories in verse calories out why should it matter ?
