    That is what happend to me..low carb low cal diet, jogging 8 miles 5x per week-sometimes more!, other days in gym, couldnt fall asleep at night and once i had i would wake up 4 hours later …waiting for freaking dawn so i can go jog some more!!! Now do that for 3,4moths. And now i cant even jog 2 miles, im tired all the time and craving junk, gained 15 pounds in 2 months. I just burned out. So now starting over, looking to prevent this for happening againg. So no more low carb!! Thank you

    I think you are right, this summer I keep trying to sleep at midnight and wake up at 8 or 9… but it’s already light at 5 AM or 6 AM. I should get to bed 8 PM (in summer) maybe 10 PM at the latest.

    REM sleep is not coused becouse you sleep more…but yes I agree 10 hours great.

    If I went to bed at 8pm I’d be wide awake by 11pm. I usually go to bed at 10 and wake up naturally at 4:30. That’s the absolute most I can sleep straight through. 12 hours straight simply boggles my mind. Maybe I could do that if I only slept every other night or something.

    I always felt like sleeping long was a waste and 6 hours should be plenty. Like aiming and reaching 4 was the summit.
